My son is one year old with weight of 10.5kg. he had viral fever,could and cold in past few weeks. But now he seems to be fine in day time. But at nights he had severe Dry Cough and it goes so bad that he start choking and seems like puking. It happens post mid night and repeats at intervals for whole night and in morning he again becomes fine. We had given Kofarest 1ml thrice a day for cough as suggested by our doctor. Looking for some suggestions upon this

I am getting Dry cough repeatedly for more than a year and I have consulted a General Physician few months back and he suggested Antibiotic tablets for several times. Still the problem is persisting, I will be alright while taking Antibiotic tablets, within a week or later, I will get into trouble again by getting dry coughs. Doctor said it might be due to Lung infection or Respiratory problem. MX test and Blood test result seems to be normal, there is no presence for TB. And I would like to know who will be the best person to approach ???

Cough for 4 weeks, with phlegm, no fever, no cold, no running nose, cough is also not continuous. but all of a sudden it happens with breathlessness. esr is 26. wbc count is 14500. report was yaken 2das back. medication used is rhtdo, spiromont-f 150. , no improvement.

My father who is 66yrs old was a chain smoker and drinker for more than 30 years. He quit drinking about 3 years ago and quit smoking in oct 2016 after a mild attack. Since start of Jan 2017, he has been admitted twice in hospital for breathing problem and severe cough. Hospitalization has given him relief for a month or at the max and he is back to coughing.

Hi, My daughter is 7yr old and having continuous cough and cold for more than 3 yrs now. I stay in Hyderabad. I showed it to various child specialist and they suggested different medicines. we also tried livolin and budecort puffs as per doctor's prescription but still she is having the same problem. often she gets the cough attack in night and then vomitting. doctors given medicines like, Zyrcold, allegra, Cetrizin to cover her cold but no benefits. please help.

Since few days am coughing too much which eventually irritating my sour throat. Based on my last visit, doc suggested me that my throat pain is due to acidic reflexes and I was taking Rantac every morning. Also reduced meal quantity to control the acidity. But in last few days I caught up with cold and now couldn't control coughing. First I was having yellow mucus and now green. Yesterday I had some part of blood in my mucus. Please advise if I had to go for any specific tests. Also do I have to change my doctor.

Caught by dry cough from past 4 months, consulted 3 local doctors each of them gave different medicines, which helped me for maximum week. Tried not eating oily food. Tried hot water and honey, etc. While doing brush also I cough feel like am not able to breath. (Might have some allergies which I don't know about)

Having very bad expectorant cough since past 15 days. The expectorant is clear in colour. There is no fever. Along with that have rales/breathing sounds sometimes. Aggravates very badly after exposure to pollution (during travellin in traffic) and after eating ( sometimes the increased cough causes mild vomiting after having food). Have tried a course a augmentin, viltacef (cephalosporin) but no improvement. Have been taking ambroxol along with all home remedies since 2 days, but there is no.improvement.Please suggest

Hi, my son is 3 years and weighs 21 kg. Tgis year he joined school and has been having regular cough n cold. Asides, therez flum block on his chest and pujes food out. He is very active, playing and all sorts but when hez in bed flum chokes n coughs lot. Under prescription he was given relent plus 4 ml, 3 times a day but still issue persists. Pls advise. Hello Sir/Mam, I am Saksham, I have been dry coughing for last 3 months, but now I feel some constriction in throat which does not go for more than a week now. I smoke 5-6 cigarettes daily for past 6 months. I have tried multiple doctors moat guve medications which do not work. Please suggest a way out. Symptoms Wheezing, dry coughs, hoarseness, problem swallowing food, not able to burp stuck feeling in throat with prickiness. Regards
