Hello, as the cough is not associated with phlegm, it is dry cough along with breathlessness, it can be allergic bronchitis also and may signify to some other cause, thus to rule out get a chest xray done, take the medication till Complete dosage as prescribed by doctor, also these medications does not provide relief in a day or week, thus have patience and don't worry
