Dear Patient, Fever with cold, headache, cough, muscle pain and chills for 3 days is commonly due to a viral infection (like flu). If fever is mild to moderate and improving, you may: • Take Paracetamol for fever • Drink plenty of fluids • Take rest • Do steam inhalation Do blood tests if: • Fever persists beyond 3–4 days • Fever is very high (>102°F) • Severe weakness, vomiting, rash • In dengue/malaria prevalent area In that case, CBC, Dengue, and Malaria test may be needed. If symptoms worsen, text me

Fever with cold, cough, headache, body pain and chills for 2–3 days is commonly due to a viral infection. In most cases it improves with rest, fluids and paracetamol for fever. However, if fever continues more than 3–4 days, or symptoms worsen, then basic tests like CBC, dengue or malaria test may be needed depending on your area. If you develop severe weakness, persistent high fever, vomiting, or breathing difficulty, get checked immediately. Based on your symptoms, this may require proper clinical assessment and prescription. You may book an online consultation with me for detailed evaluation and personalised treatment plan.
