Once children join school, they tend to get plenty of mild infections from each other, because even though they are unwell, there is lots of pressure to send them to school. However the good thing is that the child gets immunity to these infections . If he's not improving its probably because he has narrowing in his nostrils and air passages, which is not allowing the phlegm to come out . He would need steam inhalation, plenty of liquids. Nasal drops and bronchodilator medication, as syrup , inhaler or nebulizer. Meet your Pediatrician.
