My friend had severe dry cough for 2 days continuously and afterwards developed fever as high as 103.5. He underwent RT-PCR test and the report came out negative. He took medicines and was back to normal within 5 days. However, after about another 2 weeks, he again started coughing (dry) and developed fever. What can be the cause and what tests should we perform?

Hello, All it is started during cleaning of home, I was exposed to dust and too much cold during evening to night times in Bangalore (recently shifted). Mainly I'm getting cough feeling something itching in my throat (some dust is existing inside my throat) and if I touch water (basically it will be chill water) I will be sneezing continuously for 5 min.
