Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

During my college days i used to smoke about 5-6 cigarettes a day but for past 3-4 years I smoke 1 or max 2 cigarettes in a day and its more on the day i drink (once in 15 days). I have unusual Dry cough specially during night its like irritating and itching in my throat for an hour. It not that much cough but around 20 times i cough during night. During day time i do not have this problem. Time of smoking 1 cigarette everyday is around 6pm after office. After reaching home i dont smoke and i always have healthy diet with milk and all. I also eat fruits everyday. Please tell me what is this problem and what best i can  do to make my lungs healthy forever and Which is the best fruit to clean out nicotine from lungs. Suffering from cough/tussis since 1year. Tried diffrent medicine/cyrups as well as desi nushka but it is continue. It doesnt come regular or whole day. It starts abytime and continue for 1 hrs or kore then automatically it goes then after if i talk on call then it will come if i m doing anywork it will come means it comes occasionally but for 1 hrs or more and it comes from my throat i think because cough/tussis come from lungs but sometime it comes from lungs also mainly i always feel that something is in my throat i i always try to get rid of that by doing hmmmmm and then after ward cough/tussis starts

My baby has cough for last 5-6 days and he still have cough. Initially he has fever for 3-4 days and one day he has fever of 104°F. Doctor initially advise to give paracetamol and maxtra. Now he dont have fever but cough still persist. Meanwhile doctor recomend some test cbc, Typhoid, Malaria. Both typhoid and malaria are negative but HG of my baby come 8.4 and ESR value comes 40 mm/Ist hr. NOW Dr. recomend inj Monocef 500 for 5 days alongwith medicine maxta 10drop 3 times and syp Amoxicillian.

As I am travel and stuck in a village area where availability of doctors and medicines is less, please suggest any medicine for dry cough, irritation in throat, dry mouth and feeling as having sinus issue.

My friend is sneezing a lot from past two months about 10-15 times in morning  and a lot of coughing is there mostly at night time. Now she got fever also. It is a sign of some serious illness like tuberculosis or asthma. Or is it due to allergy. Is it contagious???
