I had a fall in the sitting position from a stool in the bathroom. Been having pain in the lower back region and little stiffness. Took some pain killers on and off and applied volini.. Do I need an X-ray ? The pain is not very bad all the time but more when I strain. Kindly advise. It has been about 10 days since this happened.

My hands feel like many needles are piercing them and finger joints are hurting alot and it feels as if they're swelling but i can't see them swelling. It started increasing in evening and then i applied volini ointment after putting my hands in warm water, it got ok for a few minutes now its increasing again and i can't bear it.
