I am taking Pitavastatin 2mg since almost a year. I am also on Levothyroxine dosage of which I keep updated in almost every 3 months with the help of my doctor. Hello Docs, I came across few posts, videos online where a Cardiologist from US was telling that Statin drugs have side effects related to brain. Since brain needs Cholesterol, lack of it can cause issues. Not sure how true is this, can taking Statin drugs life long have side effects, impact?
