I have been suffering from cough and cold from last 2 days, on advice of some MBBS student I took dose of ZIFI 200(Cefixime 200mg) tablet and PIRITON CS cough syrup, but there is no improvement.

Hello, My mother is suffering with cough from last 5 days it is mild and dry, she is currently taking syrup Piriton. She has a problem of recurrent cough. We done a chest x ray which is absolutely normal. Due to lockdown am not able to take her to doctor. Please suggest any good cough syrup or what needs to be done? Regards, Neena
