Cold and cough
My child is suffering from cold and cough from 5 days doctor prescribed piriton for cold but cold is more no fever ...which cough syrup is recommended I used zyzol but it's now working kindly recommend a cough syrup

I recommend Indian herbs.150ml of driking water+ fresh crushed ginger+Jaggary+ 3whole black peppers+3cloves .Boil this conccotion to concentrate to100ml. Cool and serve warm twice a day for 3 days.. you can give your cough syrup if required.

Is it dry cough or wet cough (noises in the chest) ? Give steam inhalation, warm water to drink with honey, soup, avoid milk and milk products, add haldi in food or if giving milk. Cough lasts for a couple of weeks in viral fever
