After having normal periods bleeding started after 4 days. Bleeding is still continuing for 12 days after periods and has still not stopped. Is this normal?

I am 31 weeks pregnant and having hard time controlling my fasting blood sugar. It remains between 90-100. My gynaec has suggested to keep it below 90. I am already taking obimet SR with dinner. Hello, My father has diabetes from past 1 year and medication is continued since year which is obimet sr 500 mg. Yesterday his sugar level wad tested and the reports are shown in attached file. The means sugar level of 3 months is 191 and HbA1C is 8.3. Please suggest us what to do in this case, shall we continue this medicine or need to change it and suggest some diet plan as well.
