Contrlng FBS in pregnancy
I am 31 weeks pregnant and having hard time controlling my fasting blood sugar. It remains between 90-100. My gynaec has suggested to keep it below 90. I am already taking obimet SR with dinner. Please suggest what can I do further to control it? I am also going for 30-45 mins walk daily. Any specific diet management?

Hi, fasting blood between 90-100 mg% is pretty well specially in the last 2 months of pregnancy.Ideally it should be less than 90.Follow these instructions to control the fasting sugars - early dinner between 7-8 pm,20 mins walk followed by dinner, avoid rice items with dinner, eat more salads and can use more vegetables and more curds. Can have a cup of milk with small banana or 1/2 apple beforesleeping.
