Pcod problem
I have irregular periods due to pcods.now we are planning for a baby.my doctor advised me to take obimet 500 mg ,folvite tablets. I have follicular scan  today day 21 folicle size is 1.9 cm. doctor asked me to have timed intercource from today onwards.can u pls tell me on which size folicle will be ruptured.

Thank you for your question. Follicular size of 19 mm plus is a good follicular size for potential ovulation in 24- 48 hours. There is no fixed size for ovulation to take place as it is triggered more by the hormonal environment than just follicle size. Your doctor may request an additional sonography to confirm the follicle has ruptured. best wishes
