Hi- I have been reading a lot of success stories from people dealing with pcos who started using metformin ( they are not diabetic) which helped with their insulin resistance and supported in weight loss. Is it safe for me to start using metformin? I have pcos and thyroid and have been experiencing weight gain last 3 months though I have been eating healthy predominately and am quite active. Did a blood test as well and everything was normal except tsh which was 4.7 for which I have upped my thyroxine tablet.

Hi,I was diagnosed with pcod and took treatment for three months. I was prescribed with metformin 500mg three times a day. Now Im 5 weeks pregnant. As I shifted to my hometown I'm unable to consult the doctor whom I refered previously. Will you please anyone tell me whether I have to continue metformin. If so,what must be the dose?? I'm attaching my scanning report. In scanning report they have given no cysts.

Sir I have been using metformin since 8 yrs but slowly it's dosage is increasing in order to control the sugar level. From 500 mg to 3000 mg per day. Should i switch to insulin or any other drug will suffice

I stopped glimepiride 2 weeks ago and taking Metformin 500 mg in night, Dapagliflozin 5mg in the morning but still i am feeling weekness...blurred vision sometimes..Is Metformin also has some side affects....like feeeling uneasy. And giddiness lightly.or still am feeling glimepiride sideeffects how long it will persist? Note : I volunteerly checked my sugar 3 months back...life before that was far better than now...
