Immunity from metformin
Sir I have been using metformin since 8 yrs but slowly it's dosage is increasing in order to control the sugar level. From 500 mg to 3000 mg per day. Should i switch to insulin or any other drug will suffice

Metformin is a good old drug , the maximum dose permitted is 3000 mg per day. It can be supplemented or replaced with other newer medications. So please consult your doctor.
