Stop taking Metformin
I am stopping Metformin (prescribed 1000 mg twice daily) and started taking a supplement Berberine. Twice per day. My question: is it ok to take glimepiride 4 mg prescribed twice daily.

Metformin is the drug of choice for diabetes. Glimeperide has several side effects and is better tk avoid it or keep it's dose to minimum. The max effective dose of Glimeperide is 4 mg. There are several other options before starting Glimeperide
