My little sister has a strange black mass in her left ear. It is very discomforting to get and when she pulls at it, the skin under the black mass starts to bleed. She is 5' 8" and weighs 235 lbs. She is Mexican-American and is 15 years old.

I sprained my ankle over 5 weeks ago. Had an X-ray and showed no brake. The swelling has gone down compared to what is was and bruising has gone. But it still swells up if I’m on my feet for any period of time and still giving my little discomfort. Is this normal? How long is the usual recovery period for a sprained ankle?
