Recently Answered Questions on Left side discomfort under ribs

Hi doctor, Ian having pain when am sitting position and recent MRI showing liver enlargement 22.3 with 52% fat. Now days pain is on top of my ribs right side and I have taken one X-ray . I have attached X-ray image here. I can sleep,stand or walk not much pain but sitting position means severe pain. My left side of stomach is always kind of loose but my right side is pretty tight

I am actually going to pursue my masters this Fall 2019. And there's a small lump present in left rib below armpits. I am worried this thing might stop me to study abroad. It was harmless since last 2 years but suddenly it started giving me tintish pain on touching that area. if there's anything like surgical or non-surgical methods to remove the lump, I am open for discussions. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Doctor,Me and my girlfriend had protected sex on 8 april.and her periods stop on 3 april. She doesn't take any medicine and after 8 april she started white discharge and on 15 april I just do some fingring.then after 19 she started frequently urination or urge of urination.and now 25th she started feeling somethig in his stomach(near by ribs) and on pressing his stomach she feel pain.She still don't have periods. Doctor plzz help us Is there any chance of pregnancy.

I am experiencing a dull pain towards left side of chest. From the center of the left chest rib and upwards towards left shoulder from 3 days. The pain increases when I lean forward or round my shoulders. Sometimes stretching the left shoulder backwards seems to provide temporary relief. I do not seem to have any acidity problems and I've never had any history of high BP or heart problems. What could be causing this dull pain?

I have continivous pain in the right flank resion associated with 2nd flotting ribs. When i sneeze or cough tbe pain increases. There is no lesson show me on skin nor any redness on local sites. No history of fever. My all blood counts are in normal range except cholesterol 245 and triglycerides 175, LDL 139.thats it. I am basically havhaving right side intercostal resion pain that will not relief even after taking painkillers.

My mother(46) met with an accident 5 days back. She has been discharged now and during discharge she has been diagnosed to be suffering from RTA- Poly trauma and Head injury with Right temporal bone fracture with right LMN 7th Paresis, rightclavicle fracture & multiple rib fracture.She's not able to move right side facial muscles. The doctors have prescribed physiotherapy for now. Will it get back to normal? Is a second opinion required? (Also she has high BP and is not taking medicines for it.)

I fractured my collarbone, sternum, and several ribs when I was a child and they never set properly causing my posture to be slouched because straightening my shoulder causes severe pain, I also have arthritis in my neck. My problem is I'm trying to work in my office but I can't find a position that doesn't cause me pain. I've tried following proper posture for office work but it causes my collarbone and shoulder to click and grind and get severe cramps that last for a day or two.

Whenever I sit for long or towards day end, I feel that my left side of waist ( just below Rib Cage ) is constrained. I feel as if something has been accumulated there and there is slight pain. Sometimes this pain travels up and down. I showed to a pyschiotherapist first, he advised me for Vitamin D and B12 test, which came out to be low. I started taking these supplements but no relief. Then  I showed to Orthopedic, we gave me SONIC T medicine for 8 days but not much relief. Then he gave me anti-inflammatory tablet. I am now confused, which doctor to show and what to do with this problem. Can anyone please advise.

I'm getting pain while taking longer breath pain raises..for short breath no problem. last 8 I face same issue reoccurring 4-5 time for 5-8 days and disappeared it's own. Pain happen on both sides below rib cage.. some only right side and some times only left side .. some times it move other places like sholder.. like that..pls suggest me how to find exact root cause...I did ultrasound no kidney stones.. also..

My Liver pain is increasing. My doctor says I have a fatty liver through ultrasound results but I quit drinking 3 weeks ago and pain not only persists, but has gotten worse. Even stranger, my blood results come back completely normal. The pain exists below my ribs, and lower back. Sometimes just sore, but sometimes very sharp. The doctor says just stop drinking and it will eventually get better, but things only seem to hurt more as the days go on.
