Recently Answered Questions on Left side discomfort under ribs

I am a patient of Ankylosing Spondylitis for last 5 years and on allopathic treatment for last 2 months, avoding pain killers. Nowadays, I am facing sudden intense sharp shooting pain in my left ribs and I don't know what to do as never felt such severe pain before this. Pain subsides upon standing and worsens upon lying down. Please help me out.

First of all I have this gas problem where I need to use washroom after every meal. I have a constant heaviness in the middle of the chest plus there is pain under my left ribs when I stretch. Random pain also pops up anywhere on the chest(mostly left side). There is also some cough at regular intervals.I am not sure if this is caused by gas or some other chronic disease but I am very uncomfortable and in pain all the time. Please help.

My mother is suffering from Ribs nerves pain and she is not able to sit or stand. She actually fell off from a chair which causes injury on her head also where she got 4 stitches and its been 4 days she's having excessive pain in the ribs as she had fallen at her back 4 days ago. Plz advice and suggest as to which type of doctor to consult.

I feel pain above belly button especially when I am stressed and feared. When I am busy with any work I will be normal. Can this be treated. I was taking medicine for Gerd. Upper GI endoscopy came normal. This discomfort in stomach is ruining my daily Life. I don't have loose Motions or bloody stools. Just mild discomfort through out day and fear and depression. Atleast can I Stop pain/discomfort. Pain is not severe. But irritating and mild.

I am 29 yrs old. For the past 4 months i feel discomfort/pain around chest area. Also i am having left hand pain. Sometimes feeling breathing trouble (but SPO2 is normal around 97). I took around 13 ecg, 4 echo, 2 tmt everything was normal, nothing was detected. I then took a CT Angio scan, it was normal. Calcium and CAD RADS were Zero. I did an endoscopy, mild erythema and mild antral gastritis was seen. But the discomfort is making me scary. Is there anything to worry?

I am having light heaviness type feeling in right upper abdomen and right chest area. No pain either in abdomen or chest. Only heaviness and discomfortness. Previously 8 months ago i took ECG and TMT for chest pains which were both normal. I also now having something stuck like feelung in right sides throat. I had sex with call girl (one time with condom and one time without condom) in August and after 3 days I had pain and burning with urination. I went to Urologist and he did urinalysis, urine culture, VDRL, CBC, Protein urine test, and physical examination. Every report came out completely OK. 21 Male Was having sharp pain in left chest and stomach when my gastroenterologist prescribed medication for acidity and heartburn. Pain subsided quickly but I've been off the medication for 2 weeks now and am feeling discomfort in left and middle abdomen, sometimes slight discomfort in lower left abdomen. I feel full after eating little food. Gas seems to be part of the problem but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do next. Gastroenterologist suggested UGI Endoscopy if pain persisted but pain has significantly reduced since I started medication.

Hi, I am not pregnant.I have severe abdomen bloating and discomfort for past 5 days. I ate few meals from restaurant last week.i have also been taking NSAIDs (diclofenac sodium and ibprufen) last few weeks.i have upper abdominal bloating and discomfort, it's mostly on the right side. I feel nauseated and don't eat anything much. Also have heartburn and some bitter taste in the mouth. Even if I drink a cup of water, I feel nauseated and feels like vomiting. I took gelusil tablet for 2 days. I keep burping even if I don't eat anything. What else to do to make feel better? The bloating is still the same for past 5 days. I am eating only bread and banana. Still the bloating doesn't reduce. Does it require further diagnosis or what medicine should I take? Bitter taste in the mouth is throughout the day even if I eat food or not.
