Discomfort in left and middle abdomen

Was having sharp pain in left chest and stomach when my gastroenterologist prescribed medication for acidity and heartburn. Pain subsided quickly but I've been off the medication for 2 weeks now and am feeling discomfort in left and middle abdomen, sometimes slight discomfort in lower left abdomen. I feel full after eating little food. Gas seems to be part of the problem but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do next. Gastroenterologist suggested UGI Endoscopy if pain persisted but pain has significantly reduced since I started medication.

Better to go for an ugi scopy and an usg of abd and pelvis..
