Recently Answered Questions on Left side discomfort under ribs

Its been 2 weeks since I had an ACL reconstruction on my right leg with hamstring tendon as the autograft. I am currently walking with a single crutch and undergoing rigorous physiotherapy to get back ROM. I am having extremely sore mornings with stiffness in the operated leg. Most importantly, the medial side of the right calf is extremely stiff and painful which is causing me a lot of pain during physiotherapy. I am applying ice to it about 4 times a day but still the area has been very painful. There is no clot or swelling in my operated leg. What should I do to reduce the pain and discomfort? Will the pain fade away with time?

Dear doc,          My husband is left handed and aged 30yrs is suffering from left arm n shoulder pain since 4 weeks. Some times he tells there is a slight pulling pain near side of the neck. we have visited orthopaedic and as advised tablets n hot compression with some physiotherapy. It has reduced now almost 60% as he was in rest for a week. Still have slight pain and discomfort during day and in night times it is more. Hence not  getting continuous sleep. some times it agrivates. Doc has told there is a muscle compression near neck.. trapezious muscle. Please advise its been 4 weeks.. He is not feeling  comfortable still. He is a software professional.

Hi , i have a question regarding lasik , my husband consulted two different doctors for lasik , but one doctor says he can go for lasik - we dont have the scan reports we did there, the 2nd doctor doesnt recommend lasik - i have the reports of the 2nd doctor which i have attached , how do we find out if its right to go for lasik or not , he has no medical issues or eye disease , no sugar , his father has cataract . Age-34 sex-male wearing glasses - wants to get rid of glasses because during migraine he is having discomfort of wearing glasses. he gets migraine and uses head first tablet

I am having little sensation in urinary tract from last 15 days ,but its very less, and sometimes goes completely ,but again I have some discomfort I am having little burning sensation in my stool passage also and gas problem along with it .i have done urine test of mine and its normal,one doctor given me a syrup named as "T-sit" then i got relief for about 7 days but from yesterday same thing started alongwith stool pasaage sensation ,weakness and bit vomiting tendency,My urine is very clear and I don, t have problem while urinating but then also I feel some sensation. I am drinking lots of water a day and have tried home remedies like cucumber, buttermilk .

Back when I was 10 I tore, what I was told, the sixth eye muscle. The muscles to move the eye. I have had two surgeries to try and correct this double vision I have now. Those surgeries, to what I believe, involved moving one of the other muscles slightly over to fill the missing role. Now, at 26 I am experiencing a slight discomfort puffiness feeling around it. I wear contacts and it feels puffy the most when I have them in, but I am going to say that might be psychological because I have all the other options available that contacts can arise to worry about as well. I am unsure if it is just scar tissue that I shouldn't be worried about or if it is something that can be scooped out. It does look and feel different than normal eye boogers though.

I am a female, and a few days ago my urethra started hurting. Just there. Not when I peed. Only if I touched it / wiped after peeing. Then the next day , the pain was less but there felt to be discomfort / itching. And then I was peeing a lot. Then at night it kept feeling like I had to pee but I couldn't. Eventually I did. I would automatically think UTI - however my pee is completely normal color and smell and hasn't been insanely frequent , just slightly more than usual. I'm not experiencing any other kind of pain in my lower abdomen. Everything is concentrated to the urethra area. There is no abnormal discharge; everything is about as it usually is. So this is my confusion. I don't know what to pinpoint it as because there's no other symptoms. If it helps at all, the day before all of this happened there was some sexual activity but no intercourse with a penis. I just wanna know before I spend money on going to a doctor.

I have been suffering from sinus tachycardia from august 2015 my heartrate at that time before diagnosis was 148 bpm and was even having upset stomach my physician prescribed me to take kipnol tr 40 daily two times one in morning and one at night . But the main problem is that if i dont take that medicine for more than one day my heartrate again strikes around 120 beats per minute and i feel some pressure on my chest and little bit of discomfort i am having that medicine from two years i want to stop taking that medicine but i cannot do that jst because my heart starts beating fast if i dont take medicine . My 2D echo also came out to be normal . My age is 20 and i am from India . I am always scared and afraid about my health mainly this problem please help me out ..........

Im 28, suffering from knee pain since more than a month. Started with discomfort while sitting then turn to pain when i stand for 30min. Now its always annoying and I cant walk or stand for long and always disturbing. While standing I feel the tibia its under pressure and hurting and sometimes i feel pain under patella with lots of cracking but no edema. I never been through an accident or practicing extreme sport. Tests showed RA (-), UA (-), bone density is normal, x-ray is done: a physician said its early OA but orthopedic dr said its not. However the case is not getting better!

Yesterday (6 pm)I sustained an injury to my lumbar spine when I hit the corner of a wooden post. The pain was 7/10, but I had no nausea/vomiting, tingling, or loss of movement or feeling. The pain faded within an hour or so, down to a 2 or 3/10. However, my brother pocked me there a few times, and swelling increased and pain increased to 5/10. I applied ice and witchhazel, and took ibuprofen. This helped, pain went down to 4. Today I still have some swelling and pain 3/10, and have been taking ibuprofen, but have trouble finding a comfortable position and still feel discomfort. Should I consult my physician or let it heal on its own?

I have eye redness which generally alternates between each eyes. No itching or burning sensation. Sometimes I feel a very mild pain in back of the red eye. Age 23. Was diagnosed with allergic conj , mgd, rosacea keratitis and now recently the same doctor diagnosed it as nodular episcleritis(there is a nodule near cornea). I dont have photophobia as such. Also had an allergy test a few days back and tested positive for cockroach allergy but i doubt it is allergy as normally its only one eye red and almost no itching and watering at all. no joint pain but i do have bloating and stomach discomfort and itching on both sides of abdomen lately.
