Recently Answered Questions on Left side discomfort under ribs

My rib joints(1st,2nd and 3rd) are very tender to touch.Chest skin can not be touched at all.if any pressure is put along the sternum then I get severe pain.Pain increases while walking or performing any activity.I have the same nature of pain even at the back right opposite to where I have in chest. Got MRI sternum done recently which came out normal.I got MRI thorax done couple of months ago and that too came out normal. Xrays are normal.CT of sternum was normal except mild subluxation in sternoclavicular joint. I have this problem for last 10 months post covid during which I had severe coughing last year. Can you please advise what this could be .

Yesterday I was feeling so much shortness of breath that i went to ER He said it is due to acidity as I was having burping and gas also So i went and done ecg which was normal and now I went and do my cbc which is I am attaching Pls let me know my problem The things which I have experienced in these three months are Palpitations ,Elevated heart rate, Light headed Dizziness,Random burning sensations in chest Sharp chest pains mostly left sided Headaches/migraines Hot and cold flashes Weakness in arms and hands mostly on left side Some weakness in legs but nothing that stops me from walking Random pains all around body including ribs and abdomen Joint pains Muscle tension Pressure in  left eye Eye irritation Some pins and needles here and there Chest tightness and breathing difficulty

I am having upper back pain for the last 3 months consulted ortho doctor they advised it is because of postural problem and muscle spasm, they gave pain killers, while having it I am OK, but after that pain is coming thru radiating to rib and chest, sometime numbness also in the upper back. To rule out cardio issues I have done ecg, echo and tmt, chest x ray all comes out normal attaching ecg and echo reports for reference. BP 140/90 and Cholesterol wer there ldl is 128.3. Taking BP pills. Even after that test which I have done 2 weeks back I am getting chest tightness, dizziness sometime with heart palpitations. Whether it is worried problem or I have to see any psychiatrist to overcome with the issue.

It's been months i am suffering from needle like chest pain, always in left breast or below the breast (rib area), rarely in right side. Multiple ECGs have been done & even a chest x ray and all my reports came normal. Some doctors prescribe Lungs infection medicine, and other gave me antacids and gerd tablets believing it's acid reflux. I also have kidney stones of 4mm (right kidney, left clear) and i was diagnosed with GAD & Panick Attacks, where the pain radiated from chest to shoulder..sometimes i believe it is the same pain which comes and goes but I'm free from GAD & Panick Attacks... My Needle like Chest Pain is sometimes very severe and uncomfortable. But it comes and goes, it doesn't really provide me any harm but  sometimes it becomes very painful and uncomfortable. Please Help.

I had ureteroscopy in right ureter and then dj stent was placed removed after 12 days post which I had fever and slight pain around kidney on right side and then I was on antibiotics like amikasin injection (5) and faronem 300 for 5 days. I still have some pain around right kidney(flank and just below rib cage on back) but has lessened than before. Don't have UTI and urine routine is clear as well Is this pain around kidney normal for sometime after rigid cystoscopy stent removal and when will the pain eventually vanish?

Couple of months back admitted in hospital for chest pain. Angio done and no blocks identified. Gastroenterologist also ruled out major intestinal problems by performing endoscopy. But still palpitations were there and I couldn't involved in the routine work and stayed home... Because of palpitations Dr suggested holter monitor and ruled out rhythm problems... Now consulting a psychiatrist and taking Clobazem in the morning and Nexito Forte at night... But still the chest pain in the ribs and upper back pain didn't subside and consulted an ortho and he told me it is Costocondritis... It's bothering me a lot but still only giving hot water formentation... And not sure what's the right treatment... Would like to get back on my feet soon... Please suggest the right treatment plan

I am 44 years old. I had TB in year 2009 which was 2nd time. So while treatment to increase immune system I started taking Wysolone 10, 3 times a day. So now due to prolonged intake of it I have osteoporosis and multiple fracture in my spinal bone, ribs,. So now after consulting with endocrinologists they have reduced my Wysolone from 30mg/day to 5mg/day. And to strengthen my bones I am taking daily injection of Terrifrac. Since withdrawal of Wysolone and start of the injection my food intake reduced and now it's nil. So my feeding has started through Nasal Pipe only as I feel nausea also with smell of food. And also suffering from diahorrea. So, kindly assist or else let me know whom shall I consult.

Hi, I have chest pain at top in middle of chest in upper breastbone. It is from almost 2 years now. Sometimes it goes away and come again I consulted with cardiologist and get ECG, ECHO, TMT test done, X- Ray as well. All my reports are negative. Doctor told me it is due to muscle spasm near ribs joint. Don't worry. Still pain occurs. So, i takes pain killer when pain worse. Please advice me, if it is not heart related then to whom I should consult further. Pain annoys me. Is it ok to see orthopedics or some other specialist.

Hi doctors I'm having frequent allergies, head ache, severe body ache, throat pain, stomach pain for the last six months. I have these problems one after another. I'm having thyroid problem since 5 years and taking medicine (thyronorm 75mg) and on B12 medication since 2 months. I'm over sensitive to chemicals. I feel burning sensation all over body if I contacted with some toxins. I had pleural effusion 20 years ago. I still have pain in ribs. I feel some times totally exhausted. Please advise what is the issue.

My question is ; 6month ago i faced anxiety and panic attack and feel pulsations on all over my body like hand ; chest ; and throat . My all ECG and ECHO reports are normal but instead of this i have anxiety symptoms without feeling anxious . Some times i have heart palpitations a d taking beta blocker daily . Is it normal to feel heartbeat in fingers when placing it on intercostal space  left side ??? I feel pulse on my left chest intercostal space on lying down on bed and also feel intense pulse in fingers  when lying on left side .. Commonly called apex beat .. Is these phenomenon are normal my all reports are normal . My 5th rib is also bulged out to some up on left side  where i feel most pulse.. Plzz suggest .
