Dear Doctors, I had a mild constipation since childhood but last 2 years have a severe constipation. I have diabetic and Hypo thyroid with good controlled. I tried many medicine but no remedy i.e.( tablets of  cremlax, Charcole, pruvit, tacofil,movalax) others ,Duphalac, crammafin, Tribala, warm water, Walking, gym excercise, Fruits, flaxseed, 3 liter water, fiber powder, naturlox,. Finally i come to Dulcoflex tablet which is only stimulate my bowel movement and going toilet when I wakeup. I taken the colonscopy and its said grade 1 hemorrhoids. Further gastroenterology doctor said this constipation coming due to childhood and suggested the food habit changes. My question is can i go for Dulcolax long time? What are the complications on future if i take dulcolax long term? My bowel movement is working only with the dolcolax tablet only. Pl advice...

I'm a mariner. Recently while undergoing company medical check up before joining vessel, I was diagnosed with kidney stone. Right kidney, mid pole 4.1mm and lower 3.2mm. Left kidney some concretions. I don't have, any symptom nor have I ever had any considering I'm very adventurous and athletic person. I nor anyone in my family had kidney stone ever. Local urologist gave potrate and aquazide which I took for a month. Now usg shows left absolutely normal but no change in right kidney. I cannot be at home for so long. Hence have decided to go for Lithotripsy. But in x ray stone I not visible at all. But there is some gas visible in x ray and doctor says to take dulcolax and go for x ray again so that gas is cleared off and we may see the stone behind it. After taking dulcolax, I have taken x ray empty stomach.  Still x ray shows the same gas part and no stone is visible. What should I do to get a proper x ray? What are the harms if I take too many x ray on my body? It's been 3 in 1 month

I have IBS problem. Stool is soft and semi-solid. I have to go toilet 2-3 times a day. But problem is if I take treatment for this problem then few days after starting treatment stool consistency is improved but suddenly one day hard stool occur and for one day hard stool severe anal fissure occur so I can not take any treatment for it and I can't take more vegetables and fruits as my stool becomes more soft. Please tell how I can save myself from getting anal fissure when I get sudden hard stool. Lxit plus and dulcolax can not soften the already formed hard stool. These medicines have only prevent hard stool but no effect on already formed hard stool. I am 26 years male. Colonoscopy endoscopy USG report normal. One time LIS surgery done.

I quit taking Adderall 3 weeks ago and starting working out 6 days a week (cardio and weight training) I improved my diet, average 64 oz of water a day and meet my fiber intake, the past week I have been struggling to have a decent BM, its only pellets and I feel backed up. Its been 9 days since I can remember a good one. I increased my fiber and water intake to 100 oz of water per day. I finally tried magnesium citrate but it didn't give me an actual BM only a lot of liquid, I also tried a dulcolax suppository and felt I came close but nothing happened. I had regular BM's on Adderall, could this be the culprit?

OSMF III diognosed 1 and half years back with bands in cheeks, burning inside cheeks,red lesions tumours on lips.these problems stayed , couldn't take even little chilly even zero chilly in curry. Now, bloating of stomach with pain p over, dysentery blood  like watery stools since I year plus ,as constipation is a symptom, dulcolax 5 tab daily  is taken daily since more than one year. Stomach pain is not reducing.very little food is taken,but belly is bloated. Urine output down once very less with foul smell.,. Kidney area is painful. Painful scrotum, Inability to walk. Kidney area is painful . Bones are extremely painful. No diognostic tests are done. What should I do?

Hi... I was diagnosed with anorexia during my teenage years. Since my early 20s I started taking laxatives due to constipation. Initially I used to take dulcolax. When that stopped working I started taking kayamchurna. It's been almost thirteen years that I have been taking kayamchurna daily. I became pregnant in Jan 2021 and my doctor told me to stop kayam. Instead she put me on movicol. Initial four days after stopping kayam, I was constipated however then movicol started working and I was going daily. Until now. I have become constipated again. I have been taking movicol but it does not seem to be working. Tried isabgol also but it's not working. I'm unable to eat because my stomach is bloated and heavy. How can I get some relief from this situation?

My Father, aged 71, is struggling to pass motion since morning and hasn't since 2 days, he feels hard stools in the rectum. Tried few home remedies. He gets the urge to pass motion but doesn't release when squatting in toilet. His muscles around hip area is painful. He feels a little dizzy due to lack of sleep and discomfort the whole night. Regular medication: He is taking LUTEIN, a vitamin supplement for age related macular degeneration and NEUROKEM-M twice a day for Trigeminal Neuralgia. He took DULCOLAX tablet in the morning. Please advice.

OSMF stage III developed into metastatic like condition lik Absence of stools since a year only and watery dysentery like if I take Dulcolax 5 tab at night, Now since about a month urine reduced to almost nil with great FOUL SMELL AND BROWNISH COLOUR, STOMACH IS GREATLY DISTENDED AND DYSENTERY WITH BLOOD 7 TO 8 TIMES, BONES ARE VERY MUCH PAINFUL, RIGHT FROM MEDULLA UPTO CENTRE OF BACKBONE IN PAINFUL. RIGHT KIDNEY AREA IS PAINFUL IN THE ABSENCE OF URINE SIR MY HEALTH ALMOST REDUCED TO LESS THAN HALF. PLEASE GUIDE ME WHAT CAN BE DONE B

Hi Dr. I don't feel hungry for atleast 4-5 after eating even though my meal size is small i.e. Only 2 chappatis and I also suffer from PMF(post meal flatulence). The main thing is that I am constipated since 8 years & still constipated and started using dulcolax kind of strong homoeopathic laxative 4 years ago and consumed continuously for 1.5 years post which, I am suffering from this problem of loss of appetite and slow digestion etc. Although all my test reports are perfectly fine including CBC, Liver function test, Thyroid, CRP, Electrolyted etc. so, can I use Himalaya Liv. 52 tablets to improve hunger and digestion? Or if you can suggest something else please. Thanks.

Being addicted to tobacco chewing for 10 years while in cash counter,tumours little UPPISH on lips lower upper, some Ulcers developed just l8 months ago, No tests no medicines, but managed Eating no chilly,no hot items, just cold items Doctors biopsy advice couldn't be followed, carona prevented going outside Presently constipation since 3 year Totally dtoolsstopped. If Dulcolax taken, then dysenterylikebowels water out several times a day. Entire stomach is bloating even belly is empty. Kidney and liver affected badly as brownish color urine. Back pain lot Metastatised uñtreated oral cancer. Now m afraid of biosyies and surgery N health is down by 1/3 . Please advise
