I am taking proponal 10mg for 8 months and now switch to 1.25 concor is it safe or the next day can we take this medicine

Cardiologist has increased the dosage of Concor 2.5 to 5mg a week back. Feeling difficulty in breathing from yesterday. I never had any asthma type problems in the past. Could it be due to Concor. But BP and heart rate is normal after taking Concor.
