Hello Doctor, My daughter is 2.11 she had viral gastroenteritis on 28th Jan and lasted for 1 week post which she lost her appetite drastic. While nursing it back she ended up having a mild cold on last Wednesday and woke up to a fever on Thursday 99.5. It started spiking to 103 that night. I gave her Meftal P. Post which have been giving her Crocin DS. It goes and comes back to 99 or 100. As of today, she has also started passing loose stools about 4 times in the day and small quantities that are looking mucus. She has a cold where the mucus is slightly yellowish and cough that irritates her a bit. I gave her Kofarest PD and started Augmentine DDS today. Now when I check, her fever is back with 100.8. I am worried and want to understand is this Viral fever or do I need to subject her to blood tests. I do not want to do it however if I dont have a choice I will. Will augmentine help. Do I need to continue crocin also side by side.

Hi, Yesterday morning my uncle was having morning walk. While doing he slipped and he fell down on his face, it lead to severe blood loss, he was admitted to hospital. After having CT scan doctor told there is some minor clot developed but everything is fine and patient can be discharged in a day. Patient is feeling dizziness when sitting, but is fine when in sleeping position. but as per doctors its due to some tablets, and they now switched the tablets and told all will be fine. Now I'm bit confused clot is mentioned 4.8x1.8 cm, this dimension does not look minor or normal, we will be visiting neurologist for this anyway, after having MRI scan, but till then can this be explained if this is really normal? P. S:- attached lab report of CT scan by hiding lab and patient name.

Sir, I age is 18 yrs old. My weight is just 40 kg. I am very thin. I dont like to eat anything. Since 15 days, I have a major problem. I feel like my whole body is burning and 'feeling' like about to die sensation. I consultant the Internal Medicine Dr and he does all type of tests. All the Tests like ECG, Ultrasound, Blood test are OK. But one test is negative, which is THYROID STIMULATING HARNONE (TSH) value is 16.48. The Dr gave medicine like Eltroxin 75mg, Olozole-P, Inderal 10, Etizola Plus and Stablon. Everything was OK, but again I got the same sensation like stomach and chest is burning and weak in whole body, dont know it is because of some problem or due to my inner fear. I really need help. How to reduce Thyroid level and what to eat. What should I do Sir? Shou I need to contact a new specialist? please suggest me soon. Thanks

Dear Doctor, My kid is 3.5 years old female baby weighing 16 kgs and height of 106cm. She initially got fever of 102F during 26-Aug till 28-Aug. We then took her to nearest dispensary as the temp is not under control after 3 days. Doctor gave us antibiotics for 5 days (Clamp Kid Forte 3ml - twice a day). Post the 4th day of fever, she became normal We continued with the course and finished it on 5th day, as prescribed. My kid also has asthma complaint and we were asked to put her on Levolin 0.6 Nebulization for 3 days. She was ok with not much of weezing. After this episode, 10 days have passed and high fever of 102 is back today. She is also showing the signs of wheezing today and we gave her Levolin puff to control her cough. I am not sure how could she get fever back again in 10 days. Wasn't the antibiotic enough to give her immunity for sometime. Is there any other medication / test / procedure you suggest. Should I be visiting any other specialist? Please clarify. Regards, P

Dear Sir/ Madam I was due to deliver my first child on 11th October 2017. On 1st September, water discharge in small amounts(enough to wet a pad in one hour) started and I was admitted to the hospital. I was given steroid&aantibiotic injections at around 2pm and kept under observation. On 2nd September the doctor checked on me and decided to deliver the child by performing c section at 10am. Then the child weighing 1900grams was shifted to NICU where the baby succumbed within 2days. The above information is to give you a back ground about my queries 1)Now I'm on   medication caberlin 0.5,bifilac HP,grab dsr,cefpodoxime tab ip200mg,acenac p, for 8 days. The upper part of my right breast is feeling hard.What can be the solution for this? 2)what should be the ideal time to plan next pregnancy? 3)what other steps the doctor could have taken to delay the delivery and stop the discharge? I am a PhD student in biochemistry...my work is to stand for a long..sit for a long. I have a lower back pain from last one year..I have taken so many medications for a particular course of 3 months. Sometime my neck also used to pain. I am doing regular exercise told by my physiotherapist.. Sometime there is irregular back muscle pain..which I think is due to acidity (may be irrelevant)..but some doctor says it is fibromyalgia... Some says lack of vitamin D and calcium.. Some says may be due to stress...I have taken all kind of medicine like dulane M 20..for acidity (PAN 40)..calpol,myoril, Hifenac-P, Etonac th, all different prescription by different doctors...but when I take medicines I feel a little better otherwise it is continuous, unbearable pain. I have done all kind of physiotherapy traction, IR radiation, tensor, ultrasonic gel...but after sometime again it starts..right now it is continuous. I have attached my recent prescription also. Please help me. Thanks

P. S I wear specs It started last year in Dec. I was applying eyeliner and by mistake it went inyo my eye.. I removed the eyeliner that went under my eye with a handkerchief, next day i experienced pain( the pain was like as somebody poked in my eye) i consulted a doctor he said its nothing and gave me eyedrop and medicine.. I used that drop for few days and felt ok and stoped using it.. After few days the pain started again ( the pain was not major but i was not comfortable with it) i consulted the same doctor and he gave me drops again.. In January after i stopped using drops it started again and i consulted another doctor he said its dryness gave me drops and suggested i should check my eye site (my eye site was .75 and .50) and he said its .50 in both eyes the pain is due to that i think, after i stopped using that the pain started again.. Its not like the pain is continuous, i experience it 3-5 times a month, sometimes its severe and i have a tiny grain in the waterline corner too

Hi, I am an Indian studying abroad. I ad been experiencing irregular periods and spotting until november 2016. I consulted a local p ysician w o put me on 2 mont s of birt control. Towards t e end of t e dosage I missed taking t e pills for two days and got my periods, w ic lasted almost a week.T ere was some amount of tissue t at came out wit t e bleeding. I wanted to know if t e birt control would ave reset my ormones and if I s ould expect a regular cycle ere on ? I ave also been trying to lose weig t for about 3 mont s and my weig t loss as not been proportional to t e amount of effort put in .
