My mother  (63 year old) is suffering from rheumatoid arithritis, is there any better medicine than methotrexate . I want to know whether intake of protien is good for arithritis or not . And what type of fruit/seeds/vegetables is best for arithritis patient

I have joint pain and body pain during fever and after fever then slowly other areas in body pain reduced and its better now but in my right ankle and heel and knee pain is unbearable. Can't bend the knee backward its paining badly so ortho doctor has taken a xray and told me that muscle cramps are there and also he said it's reactive arthirtis. He has given pain medications initially for 1 week after that also pain continues once stopped the tablets so he has taken xray and now given alternative medicines for 15 days. I have attached xray images. Kindly see the image and advice that I am in right treatment or not. Pls advice whether I have to see rheumatologist further. Pls advice.

My uric acid level is 10.79 and esr is 14.64. doctor has advised to take feburic 40mg and xykaa mr 8mg and phlogam as painkiller How many days it will take to normal the levels. I have mild pain in rib cage and shoulders as well as knees and ankles.

I have had knee pain for the last 2 months. It's like swelling in the back of my knee when I walk.. sometimes time gets imbalanced. Now don't understand why the pain and swelling not going. I have had condrolysis of ankle since Childhood. Recently in Nov ,2024 I was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis was put on medication but instead of helping me from pain it started showing side effects like stomach ache, vomiting and constipation/diarrhea. So the doctor suggested to stop the medicines. Now my dr might be planning for biologics. So I would like to know from the experts Do biologics are safe and what are the pros and cons of taking it? And how can I lead a normal life, Can you help me out please doctors'? If required I can share my medical documents through email. The current scenario is I can't Walk much because previously I had multiple surgeries on my right ankle and there is pain all over my body joints especially on my back. And I do feel eyes irritation at times Please help me doctors.

Hello doc My mom is k/c/o of htn,bp since 10 years. She is in her perimenopause periods. Recently she is complaining of mild swelling in her upper arm digits in both of her hands and early morning stiffness in proximal interphalangeal joints .later resolves on activity .and there is no complaint throughout the day And she is complaining of eye irritation which is relieved on eyedrops.. Is it  that serious there lab investigation is needed?
