Hello
I am 36 years old female. I got my period today after 10 days of egg retrival. My doctor prescribed me ovaral L for 21 days starting from today. I looked up about the medication , it is a contraceptive pill. I want to why is it prescribed to me? Is it safe? I have never used contraceptive medications before.

It is 4 months post my c section. my incision is healed well. But my abdomen is still very tender when touched. When I press abdomen muscles above incision, it still pains.
