Kid got cold and cough first then later got eye puffiness. Her weight has increased to almost 2 kg. Less frequent urine. No other symptoms but doctor still asked for urine sample. Got albumin++ in urine. What should be the next step?

Hi , my husband had a urine and blood test in July this year Egfr was 93 normal , blood creatinine normal Random urine collection - Albumin 56 mg/l Urine creatinine 1.7 mmol/l ( lab sugested low creatinine , may have to redo with first morning urine) Acr was 31.8 mg/mmol which is high We have redone tests in October Egfr is same normal, blood creatinine normal And From urine results - Sample gravity <= 1.0005 (it says dilute urine) Protein - negative Albumin 36 mg/l Urine creatinine 1.3 mmol/l (same lab suggested  creatinine may falsely elevate ACR. Suggest repeat using first morning urine.) Acr is 30 mg/mmol Note - acr limit is <=3 mg/mmol male - 31 yrs, no bp, no diabetes But has left renal atrophy  with size of 8cm and normal right kidney(nephrologist suggested that may be there since childhood as we know this since 2021) We are confused if its dilute urine causing creatinine to be so low and elevate acr or any other reason? Please help

The level of albumin in my recent UACR test done on September came 0.6 mg/dl higher than the upper normal limit of the lab's reference range.However,the levels of urinary creatinine & acr came within the normal limits The levels of albumin,creatinine & acr came well within normal limits in the previous tests done on June,July & August What might be the reason of such sudden spike in albumin level within a month ? Tested from two different labs with the same urine as sample.So,no chance of reports being false positive Does it indicate early kidney disease ? Is it something serious & alarming ?

My kid has albumin ++ in urine and 6-8 pus cells. She has swelling on face and legs. How to improve her urine output? Please suggest.

Hi, I am having a creatinine level of 5.93 but my BP is under control with 130/80 and I am on a no salt diet. I had a creatinine of 4.6 last week and then when I went on a complete no salt diet and bp medications, it rose up to 5.93. I am unable to understand why my Creatinine is increasing even with all medications and precautions. Does a high BP medicine cause a temporary increase in creatinine Thank you

Hi... I have diagnosed with proteinuria and using TAC 1mg per day and steroid 5mg per day. KFT is normal and 24 hours urine protein is 169mg per day. I am feeling anxious and stress with my daily activities and getting pain at shoulder. I have used gabapin for few days. but didn't get results. I have used Eliwel 25 mg and the next day. I am feeling better. Is it safe to use Eliwel 25mg ?
