Which antidepressants is better paroxetine or amitriptyline. my psychiatrist said that paroxetine is better

I have been suffering with the lack of focus and concentration to an extant that it hinders with my day to day life... I'm unable to complete my tasks on time and couldn't focus on anything more that 5 minutes. Due to this i have anxiety and depression. Please help.

I have been taking Nexito 10 tablets from last two years daily at Night.I was prescribed by heart specialist two years back since i have anxiety issues and it was effecting me.Nexito has helped me immensely in overcoming anxiety.I have tried to stop it for few days but again i start feeling anxiety. Is it ok to continue taking it?Does it have any withdrawl symptom or permanent side effect? Kindly advise..TIA
