Is there any clinical finding to diagnose depression and anxiety..else it will be find out by the behaviour of the person.also want to know the difference between mood swings and depression...advance thanks

I have been suffering from depression since childhood increasing only recently by stress from job, emotional isolation, parents' expectations and being put down by a lot of people, failing to read the so-called "signs" of life and being emotionally disconnected from everything that is happening around me which included missing my paternal uncle's funeral. What really snapped is when I missed his funeral and I was blamed and made to feel even more lonely and depressed in spite of not having interacted with him for most of my adult life and having being told by my mother and her sister especially that he didn't care about me which in fact was true. He didn't inquire when I was sick and pretty much didn't care about my existence except for a few times when I had lunch at his place because my mother bailed on my father and I for a few days. He really didn't care about me and now I have been blamed for not showing respect for attending his funeral. I've lost faith in my family and in life.

I am feeling low from the past few days. I start crying on small issues and i feel that from a very long time that i have developed ocd as well.

My son is turning 3 years today. He is intelligent and while at home. However, he is very averse to interacting with most other people, kids or adults. This surprises me as he is used to staying at daycares since he was 3 months old (we are working parents). He is averse to even spending time with his grand parents and is most comfortable with us. Once he likes someone, he is absolutely fine with them. We have received feedback from his daycare and school about this and that he is possessive about a few items which he doesn't share. The teachers are trying to be a bit firm and we are trying our bit as well. We get him to interact with kids and others. The teachers mention that he has string preferences. He is hooked on to cartoons and rhymes in YouTube. Very worried about otherwise a very happy, fun loving and active kid who absolutely loves his family. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

My father is suffering from acute depression. He is becoming very weak mentally. Always seeking financial help whereas he is not facing any financial crisis. He worries about some kind of conspiracy going on behind him whereas no grounds reality. He feels insecure for his children and family. He takes some 5 people name everytime, he talks about them and talk randomly. He wants to make everyone understand of his thought and ideas about people. He tried doing suicide two year ago as well. I have taken him to many psychiatrist and neuro psychiatrist but I have never found any improvement in his mental health. I want him to be cured. Please suggest me what to do in this case.

Patient is behaving unusually and weird. Might be in depression. Asked astrologer in the beginning and they say that she might get mental. Have done the required pooja and all she is still not behaving normal. Can't leave her alone as she tries to escape and run. We all are at home from last 7 days and tried our best to bring her normal behavior back but it's not working anymore. She was working in an office but we asked her to leave it due to her such behavior. She just insist everyone to let her go but when we tried to take her out she just ran and we had to catch her. She cries all the day. Please suggest some immediate remedy so that her brain gets relaxed and make her normal.
