My 8 year old daughter is diagnosed UTI (12 pus cells). Doctor has prescribed Taxim O DT 100 mg for 5 days. My question is that is urine culture test required? Or this antibiotic is OK? After taking 2 doses, fever has come down from 103 F to 100.5 F. Please advise.

I am not able to pee since afternoon today and have the urge. What to do to relieve it. Feeling anxious. No history of diabetes or abdominal pain.

Hello Can you please help me with a query if possible. My father in law is taking a medicine named Silofast D for the last 6 months. He was asking me a question today that  since the medicine has reduced the PSA level from 1.9 to normal range now if he continues to take the medicine can it reduce the PSA level further i.e below normal? Since the doctor he is consulting has asked him to continue the medicine for 6 more months. He is worried this will cause further reduction of the medicine below normal range. I am unable to find a logical explanation to answer him kindly help.
