If I have dominant polycystic kidney disease is it bad to take medicine which says "don't take if you have a severe kidney disease", so does dominant polycystic kidney disease count as a severe kidney disease? I'm 18 at the moment so i believe it isent that bad yet

I had prostate surgery past 7 years and had LIH Hernia surgery past 4 years. After prostate surgery I was quite well for one year, but after one year, since past 6 years I am suffering from frequent urination and trouble and pain in urination . Frequent latrine urge , I am also suffering from hernia RIH past two years. I had to go to urination for about 60 to 70 times a day, some times 100 times a day. And for toilet 10 times a day. urination only about 20 ml .Small bladder with bilateral fur

My gma is 92. Has a GFR of 15 (was 17 a cpl wks ago), potassium levels of 5.1, creatinine of 2.64, BUN of 50 (was 44 a cpl wks ago). She can't and won't do dialysis. Takes no meds and refuses to take any. Lost all sense of having to urinate. Wears Depends and she usually soaks thru everything before she will change. Sometimeshurts when she pees. Potential prognosis? Maybe time for Hospice ?
