Horse shoe kidney

I had slight back pain. My ultrasound result shows Horse shoe kidney. Also my right kidney is 7.5 × 3.2cm and left kidney is 7.9 × 4.2cm. Both kidneys are shown small in size in ultrasound. Did I have kidney atrophy? Is this a serious problem?

Kidney Stone

Suffering from pain due to a kidney stone. The USG report reads "Left kidney is normal in size measuring 10.45cm *5.1cm. Parenchymal thickness and exotexture are normal. Mild degree of hydronephrosis . A calculus of 16mm size is seen at the PUJ" What is the recommended procedure in such a case? Should we consider going the lithotripsy route ?

Creatinine level is 5.2 - Age 63

Recently my dad got admitted for chest pain I Order to do Angiogram we did a general checkup and found that his Kidney Creatinine leaves is 6.0 and was admitted for 6 days and it gone down to 3.6. Now after a 7 days review his Creatinine level has increased again to 5.2. Doctors suggest Dialysis. Is this the only way to fix the problem or is there a way we could fix it with medication and diet. Or is there any other method of treatment like Siddha or Ayurvedic. Because people give scary feed back about Dialysis. Even I'm not pretty sure about Dialysis... Please advise... Thanks, Suresh kumar.,

Kidney stone removal

We did URS for kidney stone removal. But only half of the stone removed in that. We went for lithotripsy ( stent placed during URS was kept ) and stone was broken. When we went for stent removal, during removal procedure doctor suddenly told that there are stone fragments available. We are going to do URS again. We couldn't deny it as it was asked in the middle of the surgery. So, they did URS and again placed stent. They asked us to come for stent removal again after 2 weeks.   Whether stones removed in lithotripsy be still present in kidney region? Whether the second URS is reasonable and necessary? Keeping another stent is needed after second URS even though they removed all remaining stone fragments? Kindly help us to get clarity on this..
