He had two recent episodes of hypoglycemia and fell down at home when his sugar level dropped to a low level of 43, as indicated by my trusted glucose meter. I want to know if there is any formula to decide on the insulin and/or Reclide dosage depending on the sugar reading.

I take Zetamet Plus 20mg/500mg twice a day. I take it only when I eat big meals. Sometimes, I eat a banana and an orange in breakfast. On these days, I do not take my diabetes medication after breakfast. I wait until I eat a big meal like Chapati Dal Sabzi. And, then I take my diabetes medication. Am I doing this right? On some suchness mornings, I feel very weak.
