I'm 33 yrs old having hypothyroidism and pre diabetic issues. I'm in peri menopause and my periods are scanty and irregular.. I'm on ayurvedic treatment and my doctor suggested me Patrangasava syrup.. Is it okay to take this syrup for diabetic patients?

Asking for 70 yrs male. FBS 108, PPBS 142, HbA1c 6.10, eAG 128.37 Earlier He was taking glyciphage sr 500 once before breakfast since many years. But last year he got fever and sugar and bp went down so doctor has changed the medicine to glucobay 25 with first bite of food 3 times a day. But now after seeing above sugar reading doctor has prescribed, Glyciphage SR 500 mg before breakfast And Glucobay 25 with 1st bite of lunch and dinner. Is this new change in medicines ok? Can he take these 2 types of different medicines in a day? Because he started getting gas and acidity issue at night since these 2 medicines has started. And also he doesn't feel like eating at night. So please advise which medicine to continue?

I dont have any health issues but there is confusion. Doctor, previously asked this question and there is a confusion in reports. Pathology report of RBS is 101 and in home RBS is 126 (Dr Morepen) which is correct - pathology or home reading? Both are checked after 1 hour breakfast ? Which reading should I trust?
