My fathers sugar levels hover around 200. Kindly suggest some diet changes so that its brought under control. He's already taking insulin.

I had diagnosed with type -II diabetes last year. I am 36 yrs old male. With right allopathy medication and a balanced life I am able to control the same and currently, my blood sugar is within range. I am consuming Cetapin XR 1 gm every day after dinner. Now I wanted to gradually switch to Homeopath to encounter it instead of controlling the same. Please suggest with medicine that I can start with. Should I continue allopathy medicine with the same?
