I today did Lipid Profile test and the report goes like this: Cholesterol=157.. TRIG=76.. HDL=41.. LDL=101.. Is it normal, or do I need any changes in my lifestyle or eating habits. REPORT IS ATTACHED ALSO.

I'm a 53 years male,BP reading 146/88 mmHg . Under medication Metolar XR 25 and Cilacar 10 one each in morning. Specialist specific advice is highly appreciated wrt medicine is appropriate or need modification.

I had hard stool and thought due to that my lower back hurts. Now the stool seems ok. But I still get the lower back pain it feels it is the tail bone but sometimes the entire lower back. I have been eating dolo. It gives releif but not for long. I do feel weak legs, leg pain especially the right side. Sometimes I feel the pain is in the lower abdomen area. Which doctor do i consult?

Can I take carvedilol 3.125 mg with 8 hours gap. 70 yrs,  have been prescribed carvedilol 3 times a day for high bp. Also has compensated liver cirhosis, prediabetes. TSH was 10 and after 50 mcg thyronorm tsh down to 0.13. So now taking 25 mcg. Can carvedilol 3.125 mg be taken empty stomach and is 6-8 hour gap between doses ok?

Hello,Sir/mam Iam a First year Medical Student.I measured my Bp Few days back it 139/82 in digital apparatus, after that I checked my bp every consecutive days most of the readings were 135-145 and 80-90 I was checked by a General Physician ,Bp was 132/80 And was given 2D echo,Ecg along with Thyroid and Diabetes tests ...all were Normal I was advised not to start medicine Now and to monitor Bp regularly along with Lifestyle Modifications I have a history of High bp from my Mother and Father's side It would be better from Cardiologist sir/mam to hear upon this matter should I start my medicine or should I go for more tests ? Thank you

I am 24 years old. Since a few days, I sometimes feel a little tightness in the chest when I try to go to sleep. I also feel the same sometimes during work, which sometimes affects my memory as I find it hard to recall what was recently said (this happens very rarely). Thinking that it is a cardiovascular issue, I got it checked through ECG and BP immediately (got checked a month ago), the doctors said everything is fine. But while sleeping, my focus automatically shifts to my heart rate which drops when I am about to sleep. This makes me anxious and I have to wake up. What is the problem here?

I have been diagnosed with grade-3 AR for last 2 years and I am on medicines like Ramipril 2.5 and bisoprolol 5 once a day. I am having breathing problem and slight pain in chest. Do I need to undergo surgery in future?
