Complete occlusion of the artery of the lower left leg, at the area of the left knee. Previous angioplasty balooning without stent has been done and it was opened, but after that it was occluded again. The patient is not diabetic, only hypertensive with atherosclerosis.

My father has undergone angioplasty in last December. He has another mild blockage. Doctor said that block will be removed later. He is currently using his medicine. He has constant coughing. Will that blockage will be cured with medicine or he has take one more surgery. If he has to take one more surgery, how early it should be done. Please help me. My father is hesitating to join hospital
