Head pressure, palpitations, spikes in b
Since July I've been dealing with random bouts of spiking blood pressure and heart palpitations, where I get extremely light headed and confused. I've had numerous scans, mri and mra of my heart head and chest, halter monitor and ekgs. All normal. My heart rate spikes to 175 during these episodes. Recently, I've started bruising on my hip. With the last episode, I felt a warm rush emanating from my hip and groin, then as it reached my chest massive palpitations started. Please help. 32 year old

VERY Elevated HR When Exercising
I try to exercise once a week by going on the elliptical for 20-30 minutes, doing 50+ sit-ups, and doing some machine work. My concern comes in that at a reasonably fast jogging pace and after most sets, my heart rate gets elevated to the 180+ range (this stays constant on the elliptical).
I know that it's considered 'healthy' to have your active HR in about the 140-160 range, but 180 seems way too high for moderate exercise. Am I doing something wrong, or is there some underlying problem?
