I am 36 years old having having hypertension since past 7-8 years and on Telma 40 since that time only. From past 1 month my SYS BP is 140-150 but DIA is normal so I have consulted my doctor who has suggested my to start taking Telma Beta. Being a Beta blocker does it have any long term side effect of body ?

I experienced chest pain and left shoulder pain. I was treated for food poisoning, but my doctor suggested I see a cardiologist. The cardiologist recommended ECG, ECHO, and TMT tests. The ECG and ECHO results were normal, but the TMT showed slight variations, indicating a small blood blockage. He advised me to take medicine for 10 days and then do a blood test. After that, he suggested that an angiography is necessary. I am feeling confused and upset. Please advise. I am currently taking the prescribed medicine. Hello doctors, I am attaching my husband's ECG. He suddenly had pulse rate 180. He is a regular runner(covers 10km, or 15 km). So he got ECG done. Please tell me if any problem and what is the next step.

I am having High BP since past 7-8 years and since then as per doctors advise have been on Telma 40. Post taking medicine my BP is ALMOST under control. From past couple of months I have been observing High SYS BP (135-145) and normal DIA (70-80). Now couple of days back I have done my ECHO where the observation was for " Mild Concentric LVH" . Though the doctor said that's okay but when I googled it I found some strong and dangerous feedback for this. Is this concerning ??
