Hi, I've recently quit smoking( 10 years on & off) and I'm on my way to a complete overhaul towards a healthier lifestyle. I used to have minor chest discomfort before for which I had consulted a pulmonologist. A chest xray was suggested and it came clear. I also feel fatigued and out of breath sometimes. I've read that smoking greatly increases chances of heart attack, and I can't seem to stop ruminating on the idea that I could have a heart attack. What all can I do to check if my heart is okay and continues to be okay?

Hello , yesterday my relative got massive heart attack ,he was on. Ventilator now . suddenly I feel like sweating and not able to sleep thinking k muje b to heart attack ayega kya coz muje sweating ho ra hai.is it normal ?? Sweating horaha hai to kuch hoga to nai na?? Plzz reply I m 34 year .

Left artical enlargement in ecg, what should i do next, i have blood pressure and sugar as well, taking medicines

I'm a 25 year old female. Recently I underwent a CT angio test for thorax and neck due to extreme dizziness and chest pain along with shortness of breath. The test shows "Focal Non calcified eccentric Plaque in the origin of Left Common Carotid Artery causing 50% luminal narrowing" and now I'm terrified. The doctor says it's nothing, and prescribed ecosprin AV but I'm very concerned. I do have a family history with heart disease. My question is, can this be reversed? Other than losing weight what can be done?

50yr old , I had RHD diagnosed at 15yrs age , surgery was done , taking medicine till now, but I am taking aceclofenac 100mg for headache since 5 days . Is it safe to take for 5days 2 tabs daily.

Im suffernig from chest pain exactly left side on heart location . The pain is sharp for 5 sec only again after two or three days the sharp pain come for 5 to 20 secons is it muscle pain or heart pain it come in one month for 2 to 3 days please suggest me any tests and is it serious i have h8gh triglyceraudes

Hi I have a cardiophobia a fear of having heart attack I just did ECG it's normal, but still I feel I may get a attack how to come out of this fear, actually I am a panic attack patients, I get panicked soon can panic make me get heart attack or sudden cardiac arrest?

Acute LWMI. Felt chest pain with arm pain for 2 to three hours, ECG revealed ST-T changes in lateral leads, underwent Cath lab and CAG, After angiography 3 days hospitalised in ccu, 3 days treatment in home, then 10 days medicine going on, now feeling well, advised by pass, reffered to CTVS for further management in hameodynamically stable condition. I have been experiencing strong heart palpitations from time to time for 3 days in a row. I am in my menstrual period right. I need to know if these strong palpitations are related to menstruation or some gastric problem. Do I need to get a physical checkup for this issue?
