My father has 95 percent block in LAD confirmed through angiogram. But the viability test (SPECT) confirmed only 25 to 30 percent of myocardium is viable. So they suggested PET CT to check hibernating myocardium which resulted 60 percent of myocardium is hibernating and viable. Can we proceed with revascularization? Which one is best STENT or bypass surgery? Is there any risk involved in doing revascularization? Can we continue with medicines alone as he is stable now?
