My wife has breathing problem. Although Tests like ECG, CBC , Thyroid all are normal. What could be the cause.

2days back my Aunty feeling steffy and almost like senseless while taking dinner. How often is echocardiogram done? I had one around 7 months back.. which ahowed 60% ef and trace MR AND AR I have been insisting my doctor for repeat echo since many weeks but he is not keen to do so telling me that heart structure wont change so soon hence no need but I feel classic symptoms of heart failure- every single heart beat is weak faint as if heart struggling to beat n pump blood. When I stand up i get short of breath and heart rate shoots up Shud I keep insisting for repeat echo? Can heart get damaged in less than a year
