Hello Doctor, I'm 33 years old male. I have high cholesterol close 280 three months back. But I'm not diabetic. My general physician suggested me to start taking Rosuvastatin 5mg. I check my cholestol after an month of statin therapy, the levels were under control. Again I checked it after 2 months of statin therapy. It was under control. And for your information I was overweight. BMI was close to 30. But in these 3 months I started dieting. And also walking 30 mins a day. Reduced my weight around 5 kilos. And also reduced the amount of food intake. Completely avoided junk food, mutton and all. Also an additional information is my dad had an open heart surgery when he was 63. He was diabetic since he was 35. Which means I have a family history. My question is. Is it safe for me to stop this Rosuvastatin 5mg (Lipirose) and keep focusing on diet and lifestyle modifications. Bcoz I wake up with headache everyday, also have got sore back in these 3 months. Kindly advice.

My friend age 31 has very high cholesterol since 2 months . Before that high cholesterol for 1 month and borderline high for 1 month. Doctor didn't told to do echo? Is there any risk for coronary arteries diease?? He is on good diet but too much stress in the recent days. Is cholesterol increasing due to stress?

Met XL 25 & Losarten 25 can I take it togather?Which one is better?? My Heart Beat is become fast..So give me a suggestion..

My doctor suggest me Losarten 25 mg for blood pressure along with Met XL 25 it's a old medicine I used it before 2years till to date..My question is Losarten 25 is habit forming tablet?Because my blood pressure 130/90 to 150/100 in between...How much it will continue for me?

Yesterday I got covid vaccine, today I have a headache. I am already taking high blood pressure medicine every day. Can I take propranolol and paracetamol together?

Hi Doctor, My Mom Aged 54, Weighs 82 and 5'1, was diagnosed with hypertension in 2011. In Aug'20 she had High BP and headache. But since then her BP is not becoming balanced. Although I've shown the 15 days back to a physician she changed her medicines from Teliste 40mg to Telsar LN 5 she takes it in the morning once. Her blood profile is all good except B12 and D3 deficiency. She's taking telsar LN5 everyday since 15 days but today her BP was again at 155-105 but with no symptoms (she doesn't show symptoms now only in August that happened) there is a follow up tomorrow with the physician. She's all good with a bindass personality just I get worried after seeing her BP not getting normal. I'd like to know your suggestion ; lifestyle management or any precautions. It would be of great help considering the pandemic situation. Thank you and stay safe.

I am taking asprin 75, Brilinta 90 and Atorvastatin 40, regularly from last 4 months, post angioplasty. Recently diagnosed to have high indirect  bilirubin count, mild fatty lever and mild eosinophilis. Are the medications or any else causing this?

If I stop taking Ciplar la tablet, may I know the side effects or disadvantages of it Because I didn't take tablet for 1 day, so next day I was feeling tired and exhausted with bit chest pain
