My mother has problem with Mitral valve. Which has been shrinked.now dr. Are suggesting two treatment one is Surgery and second one is Ballon treatment. I visited 2 hospitals. They both gave some  opinion after doing echo test for my mother. 1 dr said that she can be good with Ballon type treatment and it will be work for at least 8 to 10 years. And no need to do open heart surgery ryt now. And 2d dr said only for operation or MVR.  So i just want to know is really Ballon treatment is effective for 54 year old women. Some people told me that it can be shrinked again after few year later. is Ballon treatment is effective and safe or not and after this what type of cure you need? Plz reply only if you have treated. Its important for me

Hello Doctor, is cold weather also affect blood pressure? Why Blood pressure generally is higher in the winter and lower in the summer? My blood tends to remain in summer 120/80 and 130/84 and in winter my BP remains 133/84 and sometimes 135/87. Please advice. Thanks

How to lower protein in diet 2 weeks ago my protein was 6.5 last week it was 8.0 and this week I ate 3 eggs and 250g of chicken and I usually run on treadmill so has protein decreased or increased because I have taken limited amount this time?

My heart rate jumped to 150 bpm due to anxiety I was getting scared and while heart rate was going up I experienced a spasm at upper chest.

My heart rate jumped to 170 bpm due to anxiety I was getting scared and while heart rate was going up I experienced a spasm at upper chest. Will it affect my heart please answer my heart rate now is 90 bpm.

Dr shibashankar sir no sir baseline heart rate is not 90 my racing heart rate is around 75 bpm but when I felt anxiety just 15 mins ago my heart rate jumped to 170 during anxiety it was around 145 but when I climbed stairs and checked in oxineter it was 170 right now my heart rate is 84 bpm.

Sir but my heart rate due to anxiety I was feeling scared it jumped up to 150 will it affect heart right now. Is anything required right now will it affect heart because it went up to 150?
