Sir/ma'am My grandmother aged 72 is having swelling from legs upto stomach region. She is kidney transplant patient since 1999. Her latest creatinine level is 1.1 and urea 22. Sodium 133 But TSH is 14 and Haemoglobin 9.8 . Kindly guide what is the cause ? What other test to do?? Kindly guide

Hi. I am on azithromycin 500 MG for 3 days and calpol 500 MG for viral infection. I am having constipation problems probably due to these meds. Can I take yakult prebiotic for 5 days continuously as I have read it helps in generating good gut bacteria that antibiotics kill and also help with constipation.

So in feb i was treated with sultamicillin and doxycycline for h pylori(2nd treatment in 2 months), before that i was treated with amoxicillin and clarithomycin which didn't work. 2'd treatment had worked wonders but after 2nd treatment, i started having bowel movements 3 times a day, which was okay, but since lst 2-3 days, i started having constipation. If i miss an urge to poop at morning, then i have to wait for another urge. And my farts have increased. Apart from that, I don't think straining is a good idea as i read that it does more bad than any good. So i am avoiding it. Once or twice i had to put my fingers and get it out, tiny pieces are there at the end of anus. Why all of a sudden this constipation came up! This constipation and severe farting was the symptom after my first treatment which indicated that h pylori was not gone, but it was relieved after 2nd treatment. Has the infection came back again? M afraid! Please help me.

I am completely healthy but still want to improve on overall health and glow of skin. Should I start taking fish oil tablets or multivitamin? If yes, which one to take and for how many days? PS: I have not taken any medicine before in my life except paracetamol for fever and cough syrups.
