My doctor suggested steam inhale for ear infection and throat infection 10 minutes daily twice. I want to know what happens If I do more than that Or any serious side effects of overs team inhale?

I have got chicken pox 15 years ago and a scar in the left side of the abdomen has not healed since then. A doctor in our family has told 5 months ago that it has developed into a keloid. He has advised to use Scarend silicone gel for 2 months and see. However It's been around 4 days since I have been using it regularly considering the discomfort in the form of itching and mild burning sensation.
