My husband (31) got fever day before yesterday in night. Yesterday whole day the fever was 102 and 104 (once in afternoon). Went hospital and got drips and cbc and crp done. Platelet was 1.52 Lakhs. Rest all report data in normal range. Doctor told it looks viral. Today morning the temperature was in 99 range. Now from 6 in evening it's increased to 100. Is this increase and decrease expected in viral fever? How long we can monitor this at home and when yo go hospital?

I got ulcer post surgery on my little finger. Now the puss has dried. Please advice what to apply to keep finger moist to avoid breaking of skin as I need to avoid water. Moisturiser, coconut oil or anything else..what would be best. Thankyou.
