I had read about Acanthamoeba infection that it is present almost everywhere and causes GAE which is mostly fatal. I got a puncture wound/cut on my inner part of my foot today via an old wired hanger (metal hanger). Blood came out, not much but little. I applied sanitizer, dettol washed it with soap and water, again applied dettol and sanitizer to the wound or cut as you may call it. I tried to press it and take out as much blood from it. All of a sudden I have started thinking that can I get acanthamoeba GAE infection as the metal was dirty with dust and fungi that might have grown on the terrace, though it was dry. I will get another TT shot today. Since a few years I have become very afraid of these things since I accidentally had read about amoeba infections in humans on internet.

How extreme drug resistance infection is treated , does treating it using strong antibiotics cause permanent damage to kidneys and lever? What are the complications of such type of infections, I'm the victim

I have typhoid. I went to a nearby clinic, and the doctor injected IV yesterday. Today, he's saying I need to be injected IV again tomorrow. I noticed that one of the things he injected into the IV bottle was an antibiotic, but I'm not sure what the other substance was. It was pink in color. Can anyone help me identify what it might be? When the doctor injected it into the IV bottle, it turned pink?
