I have to buy new glasses. As my classes are going on, I wanted to buy one with anti glare and blu light protection, but i am confused. Any economical suggestion. Any thoughts on essilor elements?

I am 19 years old.I started wearing spectacles with a Prescription of cylindrical power only of -0.5D in Right Eye and -0.25D in Left Eye.Both eyes have cylindrical Power only. I've a kind off a burning sensation in my eyes these days when working on a screen. Doctor told me to use lubricants so I'm using Carboxymethylcellulose Eye Drops IP and Patanjali Drishti Eye drops.I have a mild headache these days but it's just around the right eyebrow and not the left one.I wear the specs and I get the pain,removing the specs gives me relief.Sometimes when I am not wearing the specs I get the pain and then wearing the specs gives me a relief.But it usually happens when I am working on a screen like Mobile or Laptop.I have sinusitis too.But I don't know,I get the headache mostly only while working on the screen and not when not working. 1. Should I wear specs all the time? 2. Or I should wear only when I feel the need? 3. Not wearing the specs all the time can increase my eyesight? Kindly Help

I'm 19yo.I started wearing specs recently 2 months back for the first time.I got a prescription of only cylindrical power which is -0.5D in Right Eye and -0.25D in Left Eye.The very next day of getting this prescription I went for a second consultation and I got again a cylindrical number only but a prescription of -0.75D in both the eyes.Since then,I have constantly been using specs.It was difficult adjusting in the start but then it got better.But recently since last 3-4 days I have been feeling a little weird.Firstly, my eyes are burning and secondly I have a headache around the temple area of only my Right Eyebrow.So this headache is sometimes with spectacles on and it goes away when I remove specs. Sometime it comes up when I'm not wearing specs but goes away when I wear them.It is weird.And it mostly happens when using a Screen like Laptop or Mob.Should I wear specs all the time?If I don't wear them all the time will by eyesight get weaker? It is better without specs sometimes.

Hi, Am asking this for a close friend. his dad is suffering from retinitis pigmentosa and completely blind. My friend is now 27 years old and his eyesight is good he don't have any glasses and no problems yet. Is it still  possible for him to develop the disease? If he take an eye test can we detect it? I went for a ratina checkup  and doctor told all reading is normal . can please someone explain it ? It's related to ratina .

Hello doctors 1. When OCT of the macula is done. It only shows information about the retina or does it also show the status/health of the optic nerve to detect any damage from the high eye pressure. 2.I have seen when doctors do dilated exam, they shine light more into the right eye to check structures behind the eye. Is optic nerve located behind the right eye and not left eye? We as humans have 2 retinas behind each eye or just one retina covering across both the eyes? 3. Do drainage canals of each eye work separately or in conjunction with each other. I mean, do they affect each other or not. My left eye reports High pressure but right eye reports normal eye pressure. Does high pressure in left still poses risk for glaucoma..or its the right eye which is more important for any damage behind eye. Thank you for the patience and time to read this. Response awaited.

Although I'm wearing the first prescription of -0.5D and -0.25D. I recently started having a burning sensation in my eyes. I have it mostly when I'm working on my phone or laptop. I have a mild headache too. If I remove my specs, I feel better, but when I wear it the eyes brun more. If I don't use screen my eyes feel better but the moment I use it for a longer duration my eyes burn. I am using Patanjali Eyedrops and Some Carboxymethylcellulose Drops IP as lubricants. How can I improve this? Is this serious? Kindly help. Thank you.

Is there any relation between eye strain and tingling scalp. I'm having this tingling scalp with no other symptoms. Can it happen due to any eye related problems?

Itching bin eyes, sneezing,watery eyes,also I am having cold quite frequently.. can't look to strong light
